Sweetser has a picturesque depot stopping point and the trail has been maintained very nicely, but only one restaurant is available but there are no shops to invite you to stop and browse (unlike the Monon in Carmel and Broad Ripple). The scenery is mostly fairly narrow wooded areas, with farms on the other side, though there are a few areas of denser wooded areas, notably by the nature preserve south of Muncie. From Williamsburg to Richmond the path shows its rail roots with a stretch on an elevated railbed. If you get a chance, you should definitely get on this trail. I found the trail easily and rode its entire 20 mile length over a 2 day period. The access points have a consistent appearance, with wood encased and serviced porta-potties, attractive signage, historical markers, high-quality rest benches are set in concrete. Numerous street crossings are the only drawback on the northern section. I prefer trails with few road crossings and not much traffic. 3. Don't expect to see refreshment stops.
