Donald Sostand was born on April 24, 1950 to the late Bernard, Sr. and Mary Walters Sostand in Beaumont, Texas. 

Donald was reared in a large family where he grew up and attended schools in Beaumont. 

He was a retired from the City of Port Arthur as a Supervisor with the Parks and Recreation Dept.  

Besides his parents Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sostand; Roland and Raymond.

Donald leaves memories to his devoted loving friend, Relita Franklin; sons, Deric Sostand (Michelle), Eric Coleman (Janice), David Coleman (Joyce), Don Sostand, (Sherelle), and Donald Sostand; brothers, Clyde Sostand (Nadine), Harold Sostand (Diane), Bernard Sostand and Clarence Sostand (Jackie); sister, Judy Sostand Guillory (Cliffon); and a special friend, Cedric Thomas; Also Donald leaves fourteen grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

*Per CDC/State of Texas/City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas regulations, everyone is always required to wear face masks.

*Seating will be limited to 50% capacity of the chapel, church, or place of the funeral service.

*6 – FEET SOCIAL DISTANCING for attendees seating and every other row & at the cemeteries.
