“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

REV. 21:4  KJV

On February 7, 1959 Sharon Kay Gothe was born to the union of the late Alton Joseph Gothe and Geneva Bernice Moore.  She was the first girl of three girls and one of seven children, born of their union.

She attended public school here in Beaumont, Texas.  The majority of her life she was a homemaker and stay-at-home mom.  Sharon was known for her hospitality and great cooking.  In her earlier years, she loved the sport of softball.  Most of her past time was spent cooking, having family game night, playing dominoes, playing cards, playing monopoly, watching her western movies, and nurturing her grandkids.  Family was everything to Sharon.  She was so proud of her family, kids and grandkids.  She loved them dearly.  She would give the shirt off her back and help anyone.

After enduring Hurricanes Rita and Katrina, Sharon met and married, her now husband, Fletcher Fisher on May 1st 2006.  On Tuesday, October 2, 2020, surrounded by her family, God in his awesome compassion called to Eternal life the soul of his child, Sharon Kay Fisher.

Sharon was preceded in death by her late parents; Alton Joseph and Geneva Gothe; brothers, Steven Gothe, Rickey Gothe, and Darrell Gothe.

Love and memories of Sharon will remain in the hearts of her husband, Fletcher Ray Fisher; children, Kristeena L. Gothe, Cassie Andrews Thomas, Sierra A. Gothe, and Hawthorne R. Gothe; grandkids, Shaw Vallier, Kameron Gothe, Ronnee Sears, Jaylon Mitchell, Ethan Thomas, Skylar Smith, Jakoby Dixon, Bobbie Jones, Juan Hawkins, and Hawthorne’s first baby girl Randlyn Gothe, expected January of 2021; great grandchild, Kameron Gothe, Jr., and another great-grandchild expected in May of 2021; brother Roy Gothe; sisters Myra Jean Gothe and Ruby Gothe; her very best friend of 40 years Gladys Stafford; god-children, Helena Vallier and DeVante’ Vallier; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relative, and friends.
